I was asked to make an illustration for a poster foldable in four parts, to celebrate Umeå filmfestival’s 10th-festival-anniversary. The festival requested a colorful illustration where you can recognize the festival’s venues and events. I chose to depict the old cinema (the yellow house), cineasts on bikes, Umeå architecture, Storspoven (the bird which is also the biggest film prize of the festival), a summer outdoors screening and of course: a cinema full of happy, surprised and excited audience.
